2 x Yoichi (45%)
This no-age-statement version was released in 2016 as a permanent product that truly captures the authentic style of Yoichi malts, when all age-statements were discontinued. Vatting various different malt whiskies together, this bottling expresses a delicate balance between peaty, smoky and fruity aromas.
2 x Miyagikyo (45%)
Miyagikyo Single Malt is described as soft and fruity.
Using less peaty malt, this whisky is distilled in a pot still heated by indirect steam at a low temperature. Miyagikyo Single Malt has an elegant fruitiness and a distinctive aroma with a strong Sherry cask influence.
2 x Taketsuru (43%)
The whisky opens fresh, fruity and inviting, with an abundance of white fruits with peach and freshly pressed grapes moving into fine patisserie notes of amandine, marzipan and biscuit. On the palate we are greeted with coffee, liquorice, toasted oak, coffee grounds and cigars, before a finish that has a base of liquorice candy all the way. A refined bitterness quickly gives way to more integrated, medicinal aromas of camphor and eucalyptus before eventually fading out on malted barley notes.
